Studio Policies

Please review the policies below before visiting us at Orange Blossom. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to us.

  • Clients 14-17 years of age may attend group classes with a signed waiver by a parent or guardian.

Clients 12-13 years of age may only attend private sessions with a signed waiver by a parent or guardian.

Clients under age 12 are not permitted to take classes or private sessions unless special permission is granted by the owner of the studio.

  • In a world where we are always connected, it can be nice to have dedicated time to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. We ask that you do not talk on the phone or text in our classes.

If you need to make an emergency call, please do so quietly outside of the studio.

Photos are encouraged, but make sure you’re taking photos of yourself, or have the permission of others if they are in the shot. Feel free to take photos before and after class (not during) and don’t forget to tag us @orangeblossompilates.

  • At Orange Blossom, we want to encourage all clients to move their bodies in a safe environment. Because our class sizes are small, we do not level our classes. However, some of our classes are more beginner friendly than others.

New clients are fully welcomed in any of our Reformer Pilates classes or our Slow Flow Yoga classes.

Due to the specialized nature of the classes, it is not recommended that new clients take our Chair Pilates or Steel Pilates classes. Your safety is our priority.

  • Cancellations:

Orange Blossom has a 24 hour cancellation policy for all sessions. Cancellations made outside the 24 hour window are considered early, and can be rescheduled.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the session, are considered late, and will be deducted from your account. If you are not going to make it to a session, cancel at your soonest convenience to allow another client to take your spot.

    No Shows:

Absences to class without a cancellation (i.e. “no-shows”) result in forfeiting the class and an additional $10 fee. No exceptions.

  • Orange Blossom Pilates is a space dedicated to helping folks grow. We are here to help our clients learn about movement and their bodies AND we help Pilates instructors become certified and continue to grow their skills.

One element of our support of Pilates instructors is the practice of Class Observations. At any time, a group class may be observed by an instructor, or instructor-to-be. In these scenarios, the instructor of the class is the one being observed. Clients are not being observed or judged in any way.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

  • We provide a 10 minute grace period for late arrivals. Please make every effort to arrive on time. After 10 minutes, you will not be able to enter the class.

  • If you do not cancel your reserved class or private session, and do not show up for your reservation (“no-show”), you will forfeit that class/session, and it will be deducted from your account.

You will also be charged an additional $10 fee for group class no-shows.

There are no exceptions to this policy.

  • Each client is required to have a credit card saved to their account. We automatically charge $10 for each class no-show so it's important that we have access to a saved payment method on each client's online account.

If you do not save your credit card on file and have outstanding payments* we have not been able to reconcile within 5 days of notifying you, your account will be put on hold and you will not be able to sign up for future classes or private sessions until payment is reconciled.

*Outstanding payments include unpaid classes you were added to from waitlists and any automatic $10 no-show fees.

  • It is your responsibility to inform our instructors when you become pregnant. For your safety, all pregnant clients are required to schedule a private session during their second trimester (14 – 27 weeks) before continuing on with regular group classes.

After completing a private session, you may attend Reformer Pilates Classes, Steel Pilates Classes and Slow Flow Yoga Classes only. Chair Pilates Classes are NOT recommended.

  • There are no refunds for the purchase of classes and private appointments. If you are no longer able to use your services, we can refund the remaining value as a credit to your account which may be applied to retail, gift card purchases, or we can transfer that credit to another client.

All purchases are subject to a price adjustment after 365 days. All private session packages expire after 365 days.

  • You are welcome to try on any of our clothing items before you purchase. There are no returns or exchanges of clothing, exercise equipment, props, or any other retail items, even if they have not been used, worn, or opened.

  • At Orange Blossom Pilates, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued. Our community is built on mutual respect and inclusivity, and we are committed to ensuring that all clients can enjoy their Pilates journey free from discrimination or harassment. To achieve this, we have established the following policy regarding acceptable behavior within our studio.

    1. Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: Any form of hate speech, including but not limited to, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other derogatory language, is strictly prohibited. Such behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the class and potential ban from the studio.

    2. Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment, including unwanted attention, verbal abuse, or intimidation, is not permitted. All clients should feel comfortable and safe to express themselves without fear of judgment or hostility.

    3. Respect for Diversity: We celebrate diversity and encourage an inclusive atmosphere where all individuals, regardless of their background, identity, or abilities, feel welcomed and supported.

  • When a spot in the class becomes available, the system will automatically try to book the first person on the waitlist into the class. If the first person’s payment method fails, the system will automatically move to the next person in the list.

You can see where you are on the waitlist on your end. Once a spot becomes available for you, you will receive a text confirming that you have been booked from the waitlist into the class.

If you do not cancel after being in the class for 24 hours, then we will expect to see you in the class and our late cancellation and no-show policy will apply to you.

Any additions to classes from waitlists within 24 hours of class time are not subject to the rules above. If you are added to a class within 24 hours of the class time and cancel via text message or do not show up (although we always ask that you cancel versus not showing up so that other clients may have the option to join the class) then staff will manually reverse the late cancellation (or no-show) on your account, and the class will be made available again for booking.

Check your Momence account if you’re not sure whether you were added to a class or not.

Please take yourself off the waitlist for classes you do not want to attend any longer.
